Britain’s beer and pub industry will gather at the Great British Beer Festival Winter’s trade session one week from today on 20 February, before the festival opens to the public a day later.

The trade session takes place at The Halls in Norwich and is open to members of the trade and press. The winner of the Champion Winter Beer of Britain 2018 will be announced on the day.

Brewers, pub owners, media representatives and other trade professionals are all expected to attend.

Martin Ward, Great British Beer Festival Winter organiser said: “We are very excited to be hosting an afternoon trade session for the beer and pub industry. This is a great opportunity to meet with colleagues, swap insight and tips, and enjoy some fantastic brews.”

Registration, which is free for trade members of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale), closes on 16 February.

The Great British Beer Festival Winter Festival takes place between 20-24 February.
