Pumpkin Spiced Latte made with Alpro Coconut for Professionals

To inspire outlets to tap into the growing demand for plant-based alternatives out of home, Alpro has unveiled a recipe for a warming, Christmas-themed latte, which is quick and simple to prepare.

Vicky Upton, head of marketing for Alpro UK, said: “We know that Christmas is a busy time for foodservice outlets, with weary shoppers looking for tasty, seasonal drinks when they take a break.
“Including plant-based seasonal hot drinks on the menu can create a real point of difference for operators looking to excite their customers with something new.”

Preparation method: 

Pumpkin Spiced Latte made with Alpro Coconut for Professionals

1.     Combine mixed spice (¼ tsp), cinnamon (½ tsp) and pumpkin puree (2 tsps) in your milk jug with Alpro Coconut for Professionals (250ml).

2.     Using the steam wand, stretch the product to 1 ½ volume and to a temperature of 65o C.

3.     Add a shot of coffee with maple syrup to taste.

4.     A grating of fresh nutmeg adds a seasonal touch!
