IRIS Software group acquires cashless systems provider BioStore

IRIS Software group has acquired provider of school and business cashless catering solutions BioStore Ltd.

Currently, BioStore cashless catering solutions and identity management software are used by over 3,000 UK schools an sixth form colleges ‘to improve and streamline access control and how catering services are delivered’.

Nigel Walker, managing director of BioStore, said: “BioStore is a leader in providing innovative identity management and cashless catering solutions to schools and business for many years.

BioStore will sit within the IRIS Education Division, and to date, over 11,000 education organisations use IRIS solutions, which provide software to 60% of UK academies and 82% of large multi-academy Trusts.
